Well, lessons have begun.... Whit's therapeutic riding, Maggie's riding lesson, and even Chap decided to join in on the fun! After he saw the other two, he decided he'd give it a try. Whit jumped right in, and didn't miss a step! He did a great job! Maggie excitedly waited for her turn and did fantastic! Chap stepped up and confidently rode the horse after a little apprehension during the brushing. I picked at his teacher, and told her he was more scared of her than the horse... which was true, and she was so patient and understanding! :) Chap and Maggie guided their horse with the reins independently. Whit wouldn't let go of the horn on the saddle, but did say "Whoa!" to tell him to stop. ;)
These pictures are by far not the best quality. However, inside the arena, there isn't much light - and I only had a phone to use for my camera. You can get the 'picture' though, of our little cowboys and cowgirl!
